This dress is THE style of the summer. It’s a Mexican peasant style originally popularized by artist Frida Kahlo, who celebrated everything ‘Mexican,’ and brought traditional Mexican costume to New York, looking so fabulous that the style became popular. See her and her costumes in the movie, “Frida.”
This Mexican peasant dress fits itself to your figure as opposed to you fitting (or forcing) yourself to it. And it does it in a very flattering way. Designed with a smocked waist that fits to you with yet more options for fit with a drawstring tie, a full bodice with an elasticized and ruffled neckline that you can wear on your shoulders or be a tad daring and wear it off-shoulder, a long, full, tiered skirt, and short elasticized sleeves. The bodice has a drawstring tie so that you can adjust the fit and degree of openness.
The fabric used for these is a crinkle rayon that’s cool for summer, feels great against the skin, drapes and flows beautifully, and accepts dyes well for rich, saturated coloring. There’s only one problem here: it’s available in such a wide array of colors, how will you decide which to choose?

SIZING IS DECEIVING,
When I saw this dress I loved it and had to buy it. I read the information about sizing and it states that it fits M-L XL 1X. I wear a size 8 (sometimes 6)and am 5’8″. I weigh 138 lbs. I do wear size M and the dress was quite big.
When I contacted the seller letting him know that this dress was really big on me he not only told me to pay attention to his information, but had the nerve to charge me an additional $7.00 for re-stocking. When I complained here is what he said:
