I loved this dress in the picture but was so disappointed when I received it. The dress runs extremely small. I’m almost always a size ten and the ten in this dress would not even zip halfway. It felt like a size 4 or 6. I had a friend hold the dress together to see if it was worth getting a larger size only to find this dress is also extremely unflattering. In the picture, the skirt doesn’t flare out much from the weaving at the top, in reality it flares out a lot, and because the weaving ended at mid-ribs, the flare was extremely unflattering. I’m 5’10″, so that could be why the flare hit at such a terrible height. It came very quickly though and returning it was really easy, which I appreciated.

I absolutely love this dress. I got the dress in size 2, and it fit perfectly. It is fitted in the chest/rib area, then it flares out into a very full two-tiered skirt directly under the ribs. I can see how other reviewers may have found this to be a negative, but I am into feminine shapes, and I love how the dress accents my small mid-section, then flares out in a skirt that is flirty, rather than suggestive. After all this raving about the greatness of the dress – I’m returning it. My one problem with the dress is with the very top edge of the dress. The lining of the dress is a silky white material and when on, the top shifts/pulls so that this white lining shows at the top edge of the dress. It is very noticeable, almost a half inch of white at the top of the dress that no amount of pulling or tucking can eliminate. Even though I love the dress, I know that I would feel uncomfortable and constantly tug at the top in an effort to hide the exposed lining. I hate that I have to return it. I wish the top was a little better constructed.
